Oh, how I've missed good Korean food! As a corporate girly, I have no time and motivation to prepare and cook some Korean dishes at home. Luckily, I live in decent proximity from my parents, who take me out to Korean food from time to time whenever I visit them on the weekends. My parents and I dined at Jang Ga Nae this past Memorial Day weekend because I was craving gamja tang. While I have never dined inside the restaurant before, I have always had their meals to-go. Until recently! The restaurant and the parking lot area are quite small, so parking may be difficult to find during the weekends. We were fortunate enough to find close parking nearby. We ordered 3 orders of their first menu item, which is their main gamja tang. For those who are not familiar with Korean cuisine, gamja tang is pork backbone stew with potatoes and vegetables. It's a good comfort food as well as hangover soup for those rough after-mornings. The portion sizes were generous, so I ended up packing up the leftovers. I'll see you again, Jang Ga Nae!

Service was good but the food was even better. Took some friends and they loved the place too. Normally don't eat too much bossam but their veggie mix for it is killer and my wife is even impressed that I eat more bossam there then any other place.

Amazing place for Korean food. Sooooo frickin delicious. Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. I appreciate the friendly service and the INSANELY LARGE AMOUNTS OF FOOD. Do you frickin see this monster of a bowl? Oh my gosh. It's just so awesome. Take some home and enjoy the flavors of the amazing options. Tons of sides with the main dishes. You won't regret.

We've been coming here for over 15+ years and it's been consistent year after year! It's our go-to place for the best Kimchi, Gamjatang and Bossam. The beef rib soup is good too. The banchans are spot on and always plentiful! Service is great! Liz is efficient and friendly.
